Azerbaijan has announced “The Brother of the Homeland” medal for IAA President Bedri Baykam
Bedri Baykam, President of the International Association of Art (official partner of UNESCO) since 2015 and also President of UPSD (Association of Plastic Arts in Turkey) since 2006, has been granted by Azerbaijan Republic, very valuable decoration medal “The Brother of the Homeland” taking in account all Turkic Republics around Asia.
Azerbaijan’s Dede Korkut Foundation’s President and General Manager Eldar Ismayilov, stated Bedri Baykam’s great contributions in art and culture’s progress around the world. Baykam’s efforts in developing the relationship and cultural connections between Azerbaijan and Turkey, has been shown as one of the main reasons for this precious decoration.
President Eldar Ismayilov will present this important and high medal of the Turkish World to Bedri Baykam on a very special evening reception in Istanbul during the week of World Art Day, which is April 15, the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci.
